General Information

Band-Aid Advanced Healing Hydro Seal Gel Plasters Regular keep germs out & body's natural healing power in.

Advanced Healing Regular bandage allows for faster healing of minor cuts and scrapes than using ordinary bandages. It acts like a second skin and supports the natural moisture balance to offer fast wound healing.

- Seals the wound to act like an instant scab, and absorbs wound fluid to create an optimal moist healing environment for fast wound healing
- Shields out water, dirt and germs that can cause infection

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not use on deep
puncture wounds,
burns, stitches, infected
areas, or on children
under 2 years of age.

Directions

1. STOP THE BLEED AND CLEAN THE WOUND
Once the bleeding has stopped, ensure you clean the wound and dry it completely.
2. SKIP THE OINTMENT
To ensure the plaster properly adheres, it is recommended that you do not apply creams, ointments or lotions to the wound.
3. SEAL IT UP
Carefully remove the white paper tabs and apply the gel plaster directly on the wound. There is no pad.
4. WATCH IT WORK
Within 24 hours of the application the product will begin to swell and a white bubble will appear showing that the absorption has begun.
5. KEEP IT ON UNTIL IT IS TIME TO REMOVE
This plaster is designed to deliver multi-day protection. You can wear it until it begins to detach then the plaster must be removed. When removal is required, carefully loosen one end by stretching it along the skin. Do not pull upwards.

I find it really good at sealling off water (but put it on a bit tight before showers). It also helps healling and it helps reduce the chance of leaving a scar. However this band-aid is not for every wound. In my experience I found that infected wounds do not work well with this particular bandaid. If the wound is red and swollen, use different kind of bandaid.

This brand creates the optimal environment to heal and as they stay on for days and even use in shower - it heals so much quicker. And no infections. Great for small burns too, blisters and I’ve even used for acne that’s popped - by morning it’s healed & covered itself. So versatile and worth every cent!

The adhesive stays on quite strong and you really have to pull it off with a little force. It is waterproof and they feel like silk. Can't fault them really, only thing would be the cost but happy to pay it for a decent find.

A couple of hand washes and a little abrasion and they peel themselves off. What's the point of a dressing you wear for several days if they don't stay on?
